Montreal was pretty good. Norway was not bad either. Uganda - well, my computer crashed with a virus halfway through the trip and good intentions aside, by the time i got it fixed, i was back in canada and caught up with the busy-ness of life back home and next thing i knew, i was in Costa Rica, generally smothered for a year by 10 back-to-back intense courses for my MA at UPEACE. so not too much posting happened there at all - though there were many more pictures and events i would have loved to share. oh well...
well, after "graduation" at UPEACE, i decided i wanted to study Spanish a bit more before coming home, so on a friend's recommendation, i found myself in a beauuutiful country in central america named Guatemala:
it's been about 9 months since i stepped foot this beautiful country... maybe about 7 months since i've left. but i hardly used internet when i was there and been so intent on thesis-mode since i've come back that these pictures never got shared.
i'm about to make another blog for my next adventure abroad... but before that, i wanted to share these here before they get lost for good :) this will mostly be a photo blog - a few captions maybe, but mostly just pictures of the beautiful country and culture that is Guatemala, and that i was blessed enough to get to experience just briefly for about 2 months.
i don't expect many people will be seeing this blog, and that's more than okay. but for those few that do, i hope you enjoy. :)
